Penguin – A super cute beanie

A super soft, thick and fluffy house and cowl knitted in Drops Cloud

Autumn arrived and when the new Cloud came in the door, 4-5 models came to life. This one came while watching Happy Feet from Disney and the name was Penguin.

Size Onesize
Material Drops Cloud
Consumption 5 tacks.
Needles 8mm 40 cm circular needle 15mm Jumper needle
Gauge: As the yarn says 🙂

Recipe

Scarf:
Cast on 21 stitches on size 15 needles and knit :
1st row: knit 1. 1 purl
Row 2: Purl
Repeat these rows until you have enough yarn left to knit the scarf in the round.

Hue:
Cast on 52 stitches on a number 8 circular needle and work the pattern as follows :
Row 1: knit 1, purl 1
2.right
Repeat these 2 rows until the work measures 18 cm. end with row 1

When the work measures 18 cm. knit as follows :
Row 1: k2tog, k2tog, k2tog, k9… repeat to end of row.
Row 2: knit 1, purl 1… end of row
Row 3: knit to the end of the row
Row 4: knit 1, purl 1… end of row
Row 5: k2tog, k2tog, k7… repeat to end of row
Repeat rows 2+3+4
Row 6: k2tog, k2tog, k5… repeat to end of row.
Repeat rows 2+3+4
Now knit the stitches 2 and 2 together and pull the string through the remaining stitches and sew together.

Sew the pompom onto the hat.
A little trick is to sew it onto a snap button so it can be removed when the hat is washed 
