I love ponchos, that’s no secret, and when it can be combined with \"\"<\/p>\n\n

cables and chunky needles, it doesn’t get much better than this.<\/p>\n\n

When the most delicious new yarn from Lana Grossa arrives, I immediately see new ponchos. Copenhagen is my take on a belted poncho that is functional and fashionable at the same time.<\/p>\n\n

The pattern is a simple structured pattern that I have used on both the front and back, and on the front I have added a large and beautiful cable. The poncho is knitted in 2 pieces and then sewn together at the shoulders and then picked up stitches for the neck. It has a slightly rounded hem, a high neck and I’ve knitted a thick horse stitch for a belt.<\/p>\n\n

The lovely yarn is usually for size 9, but I made the poncho on size 8, both because I think it looks best on size 8, but also to get more density in the knit, so it could be used as outerwear.<\/p>\n\n

Wear it as a cozy poncho or layer it over a leather jacket in the transition between seasons and you’ll be able to stay warm and fashionable at the same time.<\/p>\n\n

I’ve made it in 2 sizes, both onesize and queen size, but it’s super easy to make both bigger and smaller.<\/p>\n\n

For the Copenhagen Poncho, I used Lala Berlin Lovely, which is a thick, extremely soft yarn made in a collaboration between Lala Berlin and Lana Grossa. R\u00e5dgivning Stine har igennem webshoppen filato.dk, der nu fungerer alene som strikkeblog samt i hendes fysiske forretning i Pr\u00e6st\u00f8, brugt sine evner til at r\u00e5dgive kunder hver eneste dag.
